UV and Katha stare at each other. UV gently lowers Katha to the ground, but his wristwatch gets tangled in her hair. After a brief struggle, he manages to remove it. UV then gestures at Katha, and they once again lock eyes.
Later, Vandana warmly welcomes UV and Katha into the house. Both take her blessings. Katha becomes emotional while looking at her plants. One of the neighbours suggests that Vandana make Katha sit beside UV. They sit next to each other, and Vandana feeds sweets to UV. At that moment, Mangla passes by, notices them, and enters the house. She openly criticises the relationship between Katha and UV. Naina quickly takes UV inside, while Vandana scolds Mangla for her harsh remarks. Hearing Mangla’s words, UV becomes angry and upset. He shouts, and Naina calms him down before leaving. Katha thinks to herself that Mangla is speaking the truth about her relationship with UV, and she should not feel hurt.

Naina later sends Katha inside, claiming that UV is calling her. Confused, Katha goes in and asks UV if he called her. UV denies it, and Katha realises that Naina sent her inside on a pretext. UV thanks Katha for saving him from Eshwar’s questions by returning to the room the previous night. He also tells her that he will return the favour. Katha politely declines.
The neighbours observe the interaction between UV and Katha, which UV notices. To maintain appearances, he stops Katha from leaving and begins acting like a loving husband. Katha is confused, while the neighbours are pleased. Noticing them, Katha forces a smile. On Vandana’s instruction, Naina closes the door, and the neighbours leave. UV then releases Katha’s hand.
Katha thanks UV for protecting Mohan and Vandana’s reputation. She also reveals that Naina had eloped from the wedding venue, and since then, the family has faced constant criticism from neighbours. UV is shocked but hides his reaction. He coldly tells Katha to leave, saying he cannot tolerate her presence. Katha feels hurt. UV then notices red marks on Katha’s hand caused by his tight grip. Realising this, he asks her to apply ice to the area. He adds sarcastically that he is only suggesting it because she might file another complaint against him.
Later, Vandana receives a call from Mohan, who informs her that he is at the market. He also tells her that Bairo, the man from whom he borrowed money, spotted him there. To avoid trouble, Mohan decides to return home later so that UV does not find out. Naina asks Vandana what is wrong. Before Vandana can respond, Bairo and his men arrive at the house and demand their money. Bairo insists that Vandana call Mohan out. Vandana pleads with him, assuring him that Mohan is not at home and asks for one day’s time. Katha is shocked to see Bairo. She requests him not to create a scene as they have guests at home. Bairo refuses to listen and continues demanding his money. Suddenly, UV steps forward and pays Bairo, leaving Katha and her family stunned.
Precap. UV overhears Katha, Vandana, and Naina discussing lunch and realises that the family is struggling financially. He asks Sandy to send food to Katha’s house. Later, UV reveals that the food has been prepared at his restaurant. Katha is shocked by his gesture. Seeing her reaction, UV thinks to himself that he will not let innocent people suffer, even if Katha continues to misunderstand him.
