Mrs. Sharma firmly informs Katha that her exam has been cancelled and she will need to retake it next semester. Katha notices a pamphlet for UV’s café and immediately blames him for ruining her exam on her wedding day. She feels devastated and vows never to forgive UV for shattering her plans.
At the Jindal household, Eshwar oversees the wedding preparations when Mohan arrives with Katha’s family. Eshwar warmly welcomes them and inquires about Katha. Mohan explains that she went to college for her exam. Eshwar grows concerned, knowing UV is also at the college to reopen his café, and prays everything goes smoothly. He informs Mohan about Kailash and Chandrika’s arrival and asks him to ensure Katha takes their blessings once she returns. Mohan thanks Eshwar for arranging the wedding, but Eshwar humbly replies that he is grateful to Mohan for agreeing to this alliance. He then instructs a worker to guide Mohan and his family to their room discreetly.
Meanwhile, Naina receives a call from Prerna, who tells her about Katha’s exam cancellation. Shocked, Naina decides to bring Katha home, assuring her parents that everything will be fine. At college, Prerna comforts a sobbing Katha, who vents her frustration and blames UV for her troubles. Naina encourages her, saying she will do well in her next attempt, reminds her that everything happens by God’s will, and urges her to come home for her wedding before leaving.
Katha gathers herself, determined to succeed in her marriage because Eshwar and Mohan trust her. At that moment, UV and his friends arrive at college. UV talks about his café’s menu and notices Katha wiping her tears. He taunts her before leaving, leaving Katha hurt and angry.
Back at the Jindal house, UV returns and mocks Shlok’s wedding attire. Shlok urges him to get ready before Chandrika notices. Chandrika arrives and questions UV’s indifferent behaviour regarding his wedding. She calls Rukmini and scolds her grandsons for their attitude. Rukmini feels relieved that UV is home and insists he change his clothes, warning him not to utter anything inauspicious on his wedding day. Shlok and the cousins guide UV to his room.
Shlok asks UV to wear his wedding suit, but UV refuses, claiming the marriage means nothing to him. Shlok reminds him of his kind and sensible nature and advises him to do the right thing. UV admits he agreed to this marriage only to reopen his café and mocks his bride for marrying without even meeting him once. Eventually, UV relents, getting ready as the groom with the help of his cousins. Meanwhile, Katha dresses as the bride, still upset with UV, convinced he is responsible for her exam cancellation.
