Mangal tells Aditi that Rishi and Jhanak are sleeping. Shocked, Aditi accuses them of locking Rishi in the room and demands to know where his room is. Kanka sympathizes with Aditi and shows her the room. Meanwhile, Sakhi bluntly tells Aditi that Rishi and Jhanak are a couple. Furious, Aditi refuses to listen and knocks on the door.

Rishi opens the door and is stunned to see Aditi. Jhanak is equally shocked. Aditi angrily questions Rishi about sharing a room with Jhanak. Rishi asks her not to misunderstand, but Aditi calls him a cheater. She then insults Jhanak, calling her characterless.
Jhanak firmly tells Aditi to stop and warns her not to insult her. She says Aditi should speak to Rishi if she trusts him. Jhanak clarifies that she never forced Rishi to come, and he stayed willingly to attend Nutan’s shradh. She says she understands Aditi’s pain but will not tolerate humiliation.
Rishi asks Aditi to speak with him privately and insists he did nothing wrong. Aditi asks him to come with her immediately. Rishi refuses, saying he must attend Nutan’s shradh first and can leave later. Jhanak requests Rishi to go with Aditi, but Parashar intervenes and says Aditi has no right to take Rishi away. Jhanak declares she will never return to Kolkata.
Aditi then directly asks Rishi whether he loves her or Jhanak. Rishi replies that he promised Nutan he would always support Jhanak. Heartbroken, Aditi silently leaves.
Later, Aditi returns home. Abhimanyu asks what happened in Simulboni. Aditi reveals that Rishi and Jhanak slept in the same room, and villagers are happy seeing Rishi supporting her. She says Rishi has chosen to attend Nutan’s shradh. Indumati and Tanushri are shocked.
Aditi declares that Rishi accepted Jhanak as his wife. Tanushri refuses to believe it. Aditi says Rishi betrayed her and calls herself foolish for trusting him. She tells the family to accept Jhanak because Rishi seems happy with her.
Tanushri breaks down in shame and questions Rishi’s actions. Aditi then announces that she has ended her relationship with Rishi. Abhimanyu is stunned and asks her to reconsider, but Aditi refuses, saying she cannot forgive his betrayal.
Surjeet and Payal express disbelief. Indumati declares they will never accept Rishi and Jhanak’s marriage. Aditi replies that their opinion no longer matters to Rishi.
In a shocking moment, Tanushri threatens to commit suicide if Rishi accepts Jhanak as his wife. She declares that the family will cut ties with him.
Precap: Rishi tells Jhanak that she is Nutan’s shadow and promises he will never break the promise he made to Nutan.
