Anurag explains everything to lawyer Sameer. Sameer asks Ishani why she did not go to the police. Ishani says she did not want to involve the police in family matters. Anurag confirms that Ishani wants a mutual divorce.

Meanwhile, Nandini tells Pihu not to speak to Anurag. Raj Didi warns that Anurag may trap Pihu in a new plan. Nandini instructs Shashwat to consult a lawyer about transferring his company shares to her name. Pihu questions why Shashwat must give money to Nandini, and Nandini dismisses her concern. Shashwat says he does not want Ishani to get anything, so he plans to transfer his shares to Nandini, trusting that she will return them later. Raj Didi remarks that Nandini understands Shashwat best. Shashwat praises Nandini for supporting him through difficult times. Pihu complains she does not even want Ishani’s shadow in their house. Raj Didi adds that Shashwat threw Ishani out at the right time.
Later, Shashwat tells Nandini that his team is against transferring company shares in her name. Nandini explains she only wanted to help him and encourages him to do what he wants. Shashwat hugs her and confesses his love. Nandini asks why he is confessing now. Shashwat explains that he was stressed all these days because of Ishani, but now he is free, and there is no stress in business thanks to Nandini. Nandini asks for power of attorney to manage everything, and Shashwat agrees. She expresses concern about Pihu and urges him to divorce Ishani quickly. Shashwat worries that Ishani will ask for alimony if he initiates the divorce.
Sameer calls Shashwat, stating he is handling Ishani’s divorce case. He says Ishani wants a mutual divorce, but if Shashwat does not agree, the case will go to court, and Ishani’s alimony should be fulfilled. Shashwat confirms he is ready for a mutual divorce and will consult his lawyer. Sameer informs him the formalities will be completed in a couple of days and ends the call.
Nandini reminds Shashwat that Ishani is desperate to marry Anurag. Shashwat says he is happy to be rid of Ishani. Nandini cautions him not to forget business matters. Shashwat then proposes to Nandini. She questions how her son will accept this, but she is reassured because they are living in the same house. Shashwat agrees and hugs her.
Anurag explains that Shashwat agreed to a mutual divorce because he does not want to pay alimony. Ishani is surprised that Shashwat accepted a mutual divorce, as she expected him to take revenge.
Precap: Anurag’s mother asks Ishani if she is ready to marry Anurag. Ishani says their marriage should have happened many years ago and worries about facing Shashwat. Meanwhile, Shashwat asks Pihu to open the door.
