Jhanak tells Rishi that she will cook for him because he has to leave after eating. Rishi asks her whether she would have any problem if he stays there. Jhanak questions what he can do at her mother Nutan’s shradh and tells him to leave on time because his family and Aditi must be worried. Rishi replies that he wants to be part of Nutan’s shradh.

Jhanak becomes confused and asks what suddenly changed and why he is showing sympathy when there is no relationship between them. Rishi admits he does not know the reason but insists he wants to stay. Jhanak tells him that his decision is unfair to Aditi. Rishi says he will talk to Aditi and explains that he met Nutan before she died, so he wants to pay his respects. Jhanak says he is doing wrong, but Rishi firmly replies that he is trying to correct his past mistakes.
Later, Parashar asks Rishi to sleep there. He says Nutan died in that room and her soul will be at peace seeing Jhanak and Rishi together. Jhanak immediately says she will sleep at Sakhi’s house instead. Parashar stops her and says he cannot let her go anywhere because she is all he has now. He emotionally reveals that he once wanted to marry Nutan, but she refused because she truly loved Jhanak’s father.
Shocked, Jhanak asks Parashar to tell her about her father. However, Parashar refuses and says Nutan never wanted her to know the truth. He adds that he is happy as long as Jhanak is happy, then leaves.
Afterward, Jhanak tells Rishi that she will sleep outside the room. Rishi asks if she has lost her mind. Jhanak explains that Aditi would not like it if she found out they shared a room. Rishi says it does not matter what others think. Jhanak insists on sleeping on the sofa. Rishi points out that the sofa is uncomfortable and tells her she should sleep properly.
Confused by his behavior, Jhanak asks why he cares so much. Rishi calmly replies that she is his responsibility and decides that he will sleep on the sofa instead.
Jhanak then questions why he followed her to Simulboni. Rishi admits he cannot explain it. He reveals that he spoke to Nutan in that very room. Jhanak urgently asks what Nutan told him about her father. Rishi says he will reveal the truth at the right time because she is not emotionally ready yet.
Jhanak reminds him that he once hated her but is now showing concern, and she cannot understand his sudden change. Rishi replies that God will decide the nature of their relationship and asks her to rest.
The next day, Parashar instructs Mangal to invite fewer people for the shradh. Suddenly, Sakhi brings Aditi there. Aditi feels strangely connected to the house and wonders why it feels familiar. She asks Parashar where Rishi is. Parashar questions her presence. Aditi says she came to meet Rishi.
Mangal reveals that Rishi and Jhanak are sleeping.
