Jhanak goes to school to attend her exam. The teacher feels happy seeing her and asks whether she prepared well. Jhanak replies that she will try her best. The teacher notices that Jhanak has a fever. She says this is not the right age for marriage but feels relieved that Jhanak’s in-laws are allowing her to continue her studies. She advises Jhanak to revise properly because the exam will begin in fifteen minutes.

Meanwhile, Aditi questions Rishi about why he is taking responsibility for Jhanak. Rishi firmly replies that he must take responsibility for her. Anjana tells them there should be no misunderstanding between them. Bablu assumes that if the support is only financial, then Aditi will understand. However, Rishi clarifies that it is not just about money. He reveals that Jhanak will study in Kolkata.
Aditi asks why he is getting so involved in Jhanak’s life. Rishi tells her he will not force her to marry him. He says she will continue doubting him after marriage because she does not trust him now. He advises her to clear her doubts first.
Aditi asks him to admit directly that he does not want to marry her. Rishi denies saying that. Aniruddh tells Rishi to understand Aditi’s feelings. Rishi tells Aditi that she is free from their relationship and can make her own decision. Arshi observes that it seems Rishi does not want the marriage to happen. Rishi admits he does not want to marry someone who doubts him.
Aditi says he has changed and asks him to clarify whether they will marry or not. Rishi tells her to make her decision, and he will respect it. Arshi says the marriage will happen when Aditi is ready. Rishi reflects that being in a relationship for years does not mean marriage is compulsory. He wonders why he no longer feels sure about marrying Aditi, even though he loves her. He leaves from there.
Later, Rishi calls Jhanak and encourages her to do well in the exam. Jhanak says she was revising at school. Rishi notices her weak voice and asks whether she is fine. She lies and says she only has a cold and took medicine. He asks whether she has a fever, but she denies it. Rishi says he will call her in the evening to ask about her exam.
Jhanak admits she is scared because she did not prepare well. Rishi reassures her that she is talented and will perform well. She says she has not yet decided about studying in Kolkata. Rishi explains that studying there will help her learn new things.
Jhanak asks whether Aditi is still angry with him. Rishi replies that Aditi is fine and asks her to focus only on her exams. He reminds her that she wants to become a doctor because Simulboni does not have one. Jhanak says she plans to stay in Simulboni forever.
Precap: Aditi announces that she is ready to marry Rishi. Meanwhile, Jhanak tells Sakhi that Rishi and Aditi will get married in a few days.
