Jhanak thanks Sakhi for keeping her secret. She says Rishi is going to marry Aditi, so she doesn’t want the villagers to disturb him. Sakhi questions how Rishi can marry Aditi, and Jhanak explains that her marriage with Rishi was forced. Sakhi worries about Jhanak’s future and compares her life with Nutan’s, but Jhanak insists she won’t repeat Nutan’s mistakes and is determined to achieve something in her career. She defends Rishi’s actions, leaving Sakhi feeling helpless.

The next day, Indumati tells Dadabhai he hasn’t gotten ready yet. Dadabhai asks if he should come, and Neelu reminds him it’s Rishi and Aditi’s marriage. Dadabhai says he isn’t feeling well, but Payal stresses the importance of the day. Abhimanyu asks how he can miss it, and Tanushri reminds him that as the elder, he must attend. Dadabhai agrees to go with them.
Rishi comes downstairs and questions why the ladies prepared so elaborately for a registered marriage. Kaju and Badam call Rishi the groom, confusing him. He notices Badam spoke like Jhanak and steps inside to take a phone call. Meanwhile, Neelu and Putul argue over a saree. Abhimanyu asks them to stop. Rishi returns, irritated by being called groom. Guests ask about Jhanak, and Indumati explains she went to her village for exams and won’t return. Tanushri insists that Rishi never accepted Jhanak as his wife, and the marriage was forced.
In Simulboni, the doctor reports that medicines are not effective and advises admitting Jhanak to a city hospital for better treatment. Parashar says he should inform Jhanak’s in-laws. The doctor asks about her husband, and Parashar replies that Rishi is in Kolkata. The doctor instructs him to contact Rishi first and arrange an ambulance.
Meanwhile, Aditi comes downstairs and sees Rishi talking to a colleague. A police officer inquires about Jhanak, and Rishi explains that Jhanak went to her village for exams. He admits that he caused her accident and that she missed seeing her mother one last time, so he took her to her village. Rishi says he cannot forgive himself if anything happens to Jhanak. Jhanak recalls moments with Rishi and cries.
