Uday is questioned about his true feelings for Katha. Instead of giving a direct answer, he avoids the topic and clarifies that he has no emotional involvement with her. Meanwhile, Katha is appreciated by her grandfather for everything she has done for the Jindal family. He expresses his gratitude and even offers to gift her something valuable in return. Katha politely declines for now, saying she will ask for something later if needed. During the conversation, she suddenly remembers Gayatri, who has been sitting alone in a room for a long time. Unsure whether Gayatri is still in the house or has already left, Katha rushes to look for her. She calls Gayatri and asks her to wait near the main gate, but to her disappointment, she does not find her anywhere.
Later, Uday once again thanks Katha for handling such a complicated situation with intelligence and calmness. He acknowledges that it was only because of her presence of mind that the family’s honour was protected. Other family members also praise Katha for her courage and wisdom. Their appreciation makes her feel both respected and burdened with responsibility.
During the Janmashtami celebrations, Katha and Uday are asked to perform the Aarti together. Katha gently guides Uday, reminding him that the Aarti plate must be rotated clockwise. Together, they complete the ritual successfully, sharing a rare moment of harmony despite their unresolved issues.
The next morning, Badi Dadi encourages all the women of the house to take part in a yoga session. Katha, however, struggles to concentrate. Her thoughts remain fixed on the debt and how she will manage to repay the money. During the session, Dadi notices that Parineeti is missing and asks Katha to fetch water from the kitchen. When Katha goes there, she is shocked to see Pari dressed in formal clothes, ready to leave. Katha questions her about where she is going, but Pari avoids answering clearly and hurriedly leaves the house for work.
Meanwhile, Tejas notices Parineeti boarding an auto-rickshaw. Driven by suspicion, he follows her and soon discovers that Pari has been secretly working in a company.
Back at home, Uday once again expresses his gratitude to Katha for saving the children and standing by the family. He speaks sincerely, saying that he values her deeply as a friend. However, Katha refuses to define their relationship as friendship. Her mind recalls Uday’s harsh words when he denied accepting her as his wife. The pain of that rejection still troubles her. Uday feels hurt and disappointed by her refusal. At that moment, Naina intervenes and urges Katha to at least acknowledge Uday’s support. She reminds her that Uday helped in repaying her father’s debt and deserves gratitude.
