Holding back tears, Aarti begs Anjali to respond just once. She asks who tried to kill her and why her father was murdered even before she was born. She says that Dadi and Padma Maasi have never spoken about her father and pleads for answers. Aarti asks if Anjali can hear her voice.
Though still unconscious, Anjali begins recalling flashes of the tragic accident involving Aman. Her condition suddenly worsens, alarming Aarti, who tries desperately to calm her mother.
Later, Sapna tells Aarti that it was good she did not press the matter further, as such conversations negatively affect Anjali’s health. With pain in her voice, Sapna says that after the tragedy, her daughter turned into a living body without life, while her son-in-law lost his life. Aarti once again asks about her father, but Sapna firmly refuses. She tells Aarti to focus on feeding Anjali and clearly states that she will never speak about her father’s family. Sapna leaves the room with Padma.
Determined, Aarti assures Anjali that she will uncover the truth herself. She reminds her mother that she is a journalist and promises to find out who her father was and what happened to him. Overcome with emotion, Aarti feeds soup to Anjali, struggling to accept her lifeless condition, and breaks down as she hugs her tightly.
Meanwhile, Laal calls Aarti and assigns her a new story. He praises her for the massive TRPs generated by her recent report and informs her that the police have arrested the trafficking gang. Suddenly, their driver stops the car, informing Laal that someone has blocked the road.
A man approaches and asks Laal to step out, saying that “Sir” wants to speak to him. Laal gets down, only to see Chandrabhan stepping out of another vehicle. Laal asks his identity. Chandrabhan calmly confirms that Laal’s channel aired the girls’ trafficking exposé. Laal proudly admits it brought record-breaking TRPs.
The situation turns threatening when Chandrabhan demands to speak to the reporter behind the story. When Laal refuses, Chandrabhan’s men point guns at him. Left with no choice, Laal calls Aarti and hands the phone to Chandrabhan.
Irritated, Aarti answers the call, saying she is busy taking care of her mother and questions why she is being disturbed again. Chandrabhan introduces himself and sternly warns her to drop the smuggling investigation. Fearless, Aarti asks who he thinks he is to threaten her. When he repeats his identity, Aarti confidently disconnects the call, making it clear that she is not intimidated.
The episode ends on Aarti’s unwavering determination.
